  This position increased my exposure and interaction with senior leadership due to being the lead engineer on site, which included management experience with two direct subordinates. Due to limited resource availability, this position also demanded a lot of learning agility to be able to decipher issues and troubleshoot problems to determine proper solutions that addressed the root cause of the problem. In this role, I was responsible for process improvements, monitoring and controlling scrap, calibrations tracking, vision system support, PLC / controls support and managing the process for capital requisitions as well as developing effective cost improvement projects for the division.
