As the economic development director for the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, Lyndi led the county’s economic development efforts in the technology and office sector by recruiting new businesses and growing existing companies. She directly assisted in the creation of 2,200 new jobs and $250 million in new capital investment for Miami-Dade County. She also directly contributed to the approval of millions of dollars in financial incentives for companies locating to or expanding in Miami. Lyndi assisted companies by means of Site Identification Services, Customized Research, Access to Business Contacts and Referrals, Financing & Incentive Assistance, Permitting & Regulatory Assistance, and Labor Recruitment & Training. Lyndi also worked tirelessly in the development and advancement of Miami's tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem. She worked with high-growth companies on a daily basis to assist them in finding and accessing the resources they needed to be successful. She also focused on talent development in the tech sector as well as bridging the gap between the startup community and the area's largest corporations.
