  During the summer of 2019, a few of my friends and I advertised our services and were hired by HCPS, to work closely alongside the full-time rangers at the local common. We were given tasks to complete around the common including fencing, landscaping and conservation of the natural habitat. This helped me to improve my resilience and problem-solving skills as we were generally left to complete tasks without the supervision of the rangers. My role involved a variety of tasks such as filling shelves, stock management, taking deliveries as well as organising and delegating tasks to the other partners on the section. From this job I was able to develop skills in communication, teamwork, time management and began to develop leadership and management skills.
