Paul is an excellent engineer whose teamwork and communication skills are top notch. I was impressed with his ability to think critically about all aspects of the design/build process, finding ways to cut costs and streamline construction. An example of this would be using a smaller variation of beam sizes throughout a project to reduce the overall variation of fabricated parts. Another thing that impressed me about Paul was his ability to learn new software very quickly. I worked with Paul for a few years, and hope to work with him again in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul for any position which he is hoping to acquire, as he has the capability to succeed at whatever he chooses to do.

I founded SeeYouNow to help end-of-life and chronic care patients have their goals of care met. The SeeYouNow platform has been developed in partnership with physicians and nurses working in palliative and chronic care. The SeeYouNow web-platform is a communication channel between patients and their clinical care team that allows patients to record their symptoms using two conventional assessment techniques; the Edmonton Symptom Assessment System (ESAS) and the Patient Reported Functional Status (PRFS) assessment. This application will reduce trips to acute care by enabling clinicians to see trends and act on them proactively, allowing clinicians to better meet patient’s palliative and chronic care goals. SeeYouNow is participating in the e@UBC Lean Launchpad Accelerator Program and has a prototype version undergoing beta testing in partnership with the Brameast Family Health Organization. Show less
