His practice is primarily focused on business disputes, including cases involving allegations of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, civil theft, securities fraud, derivative claims, and partnership disputes or break-ups. Chase has also handled significant personal injury and wrongful death claims. Chase’s experience spans across numerous industries, including the oil and gas and healthcare industries. He has also represented prominent law firms against claims of legal malpractice and governmental entities in suits arising from the fiduciary responsibilities owed by their employees and trustees. Chase was recognized as one of D Magazine’s 2020 Best Lawyers Under 40. He was also elected to the Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court where he served a one-year term as an Associate. In addition to successfully trying cases to verdict as lead counsel, Chase has obtained summary judgments and orders of dismissal in numerous lawsuits in which the claimants sought multimillion-dollar damage awards. He has also handled TRO and temporary injunctive hearings and obtained the emergency injunctive relief sought in cases involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty and misappropriation of trade secrets. Chase was born in Dallas and reared in Greenville, Texas. He met his wife Lydia in high school and they now have 5 children. Chase and Lydia are actively involved in various ministries at their local church, and Chase enjoys coaching his children’s various sports teams.
