• Worked as research associate in one of Rider University's Neuroscience labs. Our research was focused on the effects of chemotherapy agents on different aspects of the brain, and those effects on behavior• Initially, we experimented on several different chemotherapeutic agents in mice models, until we found an agent that efficiently penetrated the blood brain barrier. We then used this agent in mice and conducted several different peer-validated experiments in order to effectively prove that this agent caused decreased cellular regeneration in the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus. • Once we proved that these neuron levels were decreased in these mice, we conducted neurological and behavioral testing, and were able to prove a statistically significant difference in memory• I co-authored a paper on this research and presented it at the Neuroscience Convention in Chicago
