Cassandra Hobbins
Alyse is an insanely intelligent, driven, ambitious, organized and meticulous production manager and beyond. There is nothing Alyse will not take on, tackle, and independently driven by a self starting curiosity and drive that can constantly spot areas that are in need of improvement, cost savings, restructure, priority, necessity... everything. She is beyond the best production manager that has ever worked for me at any company. Alyse has impeccable presentation, communication , and cross functioning skills. Leaders of other teams never had to ask for information impactful to their area, because of Alyse's excellent ability to anticipate the needs of our cross functional partners and present that information proactively. Alyse was always eager and open to having more added to her plate and to expand her responsibilities and ownership. Production is one of the most stressful jobs I have ever had to do and is completely understated in our industry how stressful this role can be. That being said, Alyse consistently keeps a cool, calm, chill demeanor and stays focused on solutions and results , whats best for the business, and the margin. Any organization that hires Alyse will have an utter super star on their team who will surely grow very quickly into a key leader in production and development.

Director of Product Development & Production
-
Feb 2018 - Jan 2020
Lisa Marie Fernandez is a global luxury RTW, swimwear, and activewear brand made in the USA. My role included managing the development, costing, order placement, and overall production execution of seasonal collections, capsules, and special projects. I reported directly to the CEO / Creative Director and was responsible for design support (color mockups, technical sketches, building linesheets & line plans, e-commerce merchandising, etc), as well as daily communication with vendors and manufacturers, production planning, capacity and factory allocation, seasonal calendars, WIP reports, and achieving target margin goals by managing the pre-costing process through final bulk production. My experience here was incredibly hands on working within a small business and I’m grateful to have gained invaluable experience to all aspects of the business from P&L reviews to warehousing, logistics, ecommerce platforms (Shopify), merchandising, and everything in between. Chromat is future-forward bodywear that explores the intersection of architecture, fashion and technology. As Chromat’s first full-time employee in 2013, I wore many hats overseeing the product development of Chromat’s signature cage, swimwear, lingerie, and activewear collections. I was responsible for developing initial designs, tech packs, patterns, and garment specifications while building pattern fit blocks and brand grading standards. I elevated the brands materials by researching and developing branded trims and eco/sustainable fabrications. I conducted weekly fittings, addressed fit comments and corrections to the factories, and oversaw QC of the in-house cage production line. Chromat was at the forefront of pushing for diversity and representation on New York fashion week runways and continues to push boundaries for social change both on and off the runway. Show less
