  As Champion of Event, it was my role to represent and coordinate with Epilepsy Canada's CEO and Marketing Director in discussions with McGill's I Medici Orchestra to ensure all event milestones were met. I was also tasked with soliciting corporations for donations (both monetary and in-kind), engaged a catering company and organized the silent auction portion of the event, conducted marketing campaigns (both social media based and local) in line with Epilepsy Canada's core messaging. I was also tasked with soliciting corporations for donations (both monetary and in-kind), engaged a catering company and organized the silent auction portion of the event, conducted marketing campaigns (both social media based and local) in line with Epilepsy Canada's core messaging. I assembled a team of volunteers and assigned each of them roles leading up to and including the day of the event. Epilepsy Canada is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to positively affecting the lives of those living with epilepsy. It undertakes education and awareness activities to build understanding, acceptance and hope for those effected by epileptic seizures or SUDEP (Sudden Unexplained Death from Epilepsy).
