Jun 2019 - Present
I work as Partnerships Officer for the Office of the Vice President Leni Robredo's anti-poverty program called Angat Buhay. We bring together the public and the private sectors—organizations and individuals alike—to address the needs of families in the farthest and the poorest communities. The OVP reaches out to these areas by working with partners in providing interventions and mobilizing support through six key advocacy areas: food security and nutrition, universal healthcare, public education, rural development, housing and resettlement, and women empowerment. During my first year in OVP, I served as a Partnerships Officer but under the Alumni Ambassadorship Program of a non-profit organization Teach for the Philippines. Show less

Alumni Ambassador

Jun 2019 - Jun 2020
I was assigned as Partnerships Officer at the Office of the Vice President Leni Robredo. This was part of my Alumni Ambassadors Program with non-profit organization Teach for the Philippines. The Program: (1) supplies a deep need for fresh talent in the government sector; (2) encourages those who have graduated from the Fellowship Program to continue to join our conversation about reform and broaden their perspectives by working at the scale of local and national government; and (3) helps TFP develop an ecosystem of success, support, and alignment at various levels of the government. It works as a one-year extension to the Fellowship program and enables Alumni Fellows to explore beyond the grassroots and experience the macro side of the table.During this one-year stint, I was able to complete programs for Leadership Innovation for Social Impact, and Public Policy Management under the Asian Institue of Management.
