Melanee Stevens is a dedicated professional who knows where she is going and has the ability to create a path for others to follow. Melanee worked with the youth of Seward at all three schools in Seward, Alaska where I was a teacher. She has a strong positive approach that demands respect and dedication and helps make kids see their potential. Melanee works very well with adults and is willing to adapt to each environment she is in. I wish the best to Melanee and know that wherever she chooses to work, her colleagues will be thankful she is on board to be a positive role model.

Dr. James C Rodríguez, MSW

Melanee Stevens, has worked with me on several national and tribal projects over the past seven years. During this time developing professional development and capacity building assistance training to advance the needs of tribal (Native American) and other diverse families. I have always been impressed with the high level of professionalism with her unique vision to create new programs to help families. Melanee is an extraordinary person that builds positive relationships. She is an advocate and one I would take on as a peer for any project. In 2013, I asked Ms. Stevens help lead a National Family Violence Track for our internationally attended 15th Annual National Fatherhood & Families Conference as an example of her expertise. I would recommend her for any senior management and or executive level position. Sincerely, James C. Rodriguez, MSW, Ph.D., Candidate Chief Executive Officer & President Fathers & Families Coalition of America
