I managed the seamless data migration from SAP to Microsoft Dynamics NAV and ensured FAS 52 Foreign Currency compliance. I also supported and responded to regional control teams regarding Foreign Currency inquiries. I designed JET reports to support external reporting and audit schedules. I modified and maintained the ACCESS database in order to track account reconciliations in NAV.--I developed an audit report to verify the Foreign Exchange impact on financial statements.--I project managed the migration of data containing 70+ legal entities from SAP to Microsoft Dynamics NAV.--I wrote complex reports using JET reporting in NAV.--I successfully launched a new global finance system in less than 4 months, on time and on budget.

I was responsible for confirming the proper foreign exchange functionality of SAP. I spearheaded the process to streamline the foreign exchange reporting procedure for SAP by developing and then running a detailed Access Database monthly. I provided expert feedback to the global finance community regarding how to best document and correct foreign exchange reporting issues. I revised month-end close procedures to process foreign exchange jobs. I also served as Account Reconciliation Coordinator for all Canadian and Latin American companies.--I revised the foreign exchange close process, reducing the total processing time from 8+ hours to less than 2 hours.--I corrected SAP foreign exchange reporting deficiency by developing a detailed Access model to report integrated global foreign exchange results in a more streamlined format. This resulted in more consistent regional submissions of quarter-end reports being prepared in much less time.--I developed an Access database to effectively track Canadian and Latin American account reconciliations. We were then able to deactivate the outdated, more expensive Legacy system. --I repaired a critical opening balance conversion issue that caused account reconciliation difficulty by accurately processing corrected/updated entries in a parallel GL.

As a member of Finance Transformation project team, I was responsible for implementing SAP on a global scale. I created new, simplified global chart accounts for SAP. As the Data Conversion Lead, I managed the Oracle data extraction and input and verification process of opening SAP data. I collaborated with department leaders to develop a global close calendar for SAP.--I simplified the chart of accounts, reducing the number of accounts by 50% by teaming with multiple members of the finance organization and linking results directly to published financial statements.--I successfully executed and documented the conversion of Oracle data to SAP within the projected timeline using Access database conversion tools.--I created a more efficient global close calendar. --I spearheaded data cleansing activities prior to the conversion.
