I would like to take an opportunity to offer a recommendation for Jim Noble whom I had the delight of working with for 4 years while at SatoTravel. I found his skills and abilities to be both in-depth and substantial. Jim was always very approachable, enthusiastic, and dedicated to sharing his wealth of knowledge to the teams he worked with. He has a very professional, yet friendly, manner and I would highly recommend Jim as an extremely competent and gifted professional who would strengthen any organization’s bottom-line.

Jim and I worked as executive directors at PECF for 6 years (2001-2007). Jim is one of the most talented IT managers I have seen in 20+ years of managing not-for-profit organizations. Three things put Jim in a class of his own: (1) Technical expertise. Jim as always on the forefront of new technologies and aware of new technologies coming down the road. This expertise was invaluable in long-term planning and planning for unusual projects. (2) Creativity. In many cases Jim was able to create something out of nothing. Given limited budgets, Jim negotiated well with vendors and created alternative approaches to give the Foundation and its institutions the technology they needed. (3) Organizational understanding. Jim's expertise is definitely technology, but he was well versed in the operations of the institutions that comprise the PECF, including a nationally-recognized cathedral, 3 schools, and a central office. Jim understands that technology is a means to an end, a tool, that does not superced the mission of the organization. I would be glad to offer any more information about Jim as needed.

Owner, Interim Technology Executive Management
-
May 2008 - Sep 2009
In this interim period between great business and serious decline, a company may find this a time to streamline it’s usage of Technology to do the job with less cost and less or different type of staff. I understand what is needed in these hard times, and I decided to offer my vast variable experiences to others who are in need of technological assistance whether they know it or not. Technology and our understanding of its applications have grown and now it is time for companies to take advantage of this new ability and creative usage in order to make profits when there are few profits out there. An INTERIM CIO is not trying to get a job! Therefore, the Interim CIO has an opportunity to give the company owners/managers an unbiased review while assisting in the plans and production of a new way to make more profits when the economy rebounds. IN THIS DECLINING ECONOMY, I am offering a “win-win” situation. Nothing to lose and much to gain.
