Expedition Leader & Logistics Manager
-
2010 - 2014
For a period of 5 years I was part of the Pirhuk Team in varying capacities, from Logistics Manager to Expedition Leader. Ordering, organising and expedition planning were fundamental to the Logistics role, including liaising with clients. I have been involved in over 10 expeditions in East and North East Greenland including a 550km unsupported crossing of the ice cap from East to West. I have logged a total of 120 expedition days in Greenland during spring and summer. Spending 28 days operating on the Greenland Ice cap, and 42 days being the sole leader of teams on sea ice and glaciers of the East coast. Show less
