Nathan is a hard working individual. The Summer he spent with the Toledo Mud Hens, he hit the ground running. He responded to all fan inquiries with the fan in mind, while also maintaining the integrity of the Box Office. He was quick to learn and adapt, but patient enough to help the other interns along. I see a solid and bright future for Nathan in the world of Sports. His honesty, integrity and enthusiasm for what he does will drive him to his success.

Throughout the past year and a half I have had the opportunity to work with close partnership with the Ohio University Men's basketball team. On a daily basis we have practice for 3 hours. This practice includes setting up the gym for practice by getting players water bottles, bringing out white boards, setting up scoreboard and clock, as well as setting up film. During practice, I participate in drills by rebounding, passing, and playind defense, film parts of practice for the coaching staff, and wipe up any sweat or spilled items on the floor. During games this can include differnt tasks such as recording the game, handing players water and towels, wiping the floor under the hoops, or sitting at the end of the bench and being in charge of stools for timeouts. As a director of tickets sales, I work closely with marketing and promotions coming up with new ways to get fans to the ballpark. I work to sell tickets to the general public, as well as group and special event sales. This process begins in November before the season even starts. That is the time where we reach out to companies and other groups that would be intresteaded in coming out to a Copperheads game. I also had the opportunity to sell tickets for the championship winning GLSCL team. In the summer of 2018 I had an opportunity to travel abroad to Germany to experience something I never thought I would get to see: Adidas world headquarters. Students from Ohio University, Nipissing University, and Bayreuth University gathered in Germany to conduct a two-week consulting project. While I was there I received a tour of Adidas headquarters and met some amazing people. During the project we were able to integrate multicultural perspectives to collectively create a deliverable on creative and innovative solutions to popularize Adidas volleyball and tennis merchandise. In the conclusion of this project, we presented a 15 minute presentation based on what we developed as a group. These recommendations were presented to a panel of judges from Adidas along with professors. Copy of presentation and written report are available for viewing upon request. Show less
