I have had the pleasure of working with Gus at Stom8 and GC Turbo. Gus is a highly skilled animator and I have always been impressed by his passion and positive attitude. Gus always delivers high quality work at a fast pace, often going above and beyond. His work on Pokemon: Medallion Battle was always entertaining and exciting. Gus has a vast understanding of game development and is always willing to share his knowledge with members of the team. Gus continues to challenge himself across disciplines by helping with illustration, design, marketing and branding art. Gus would be a standout member for any art team!

Gus brought his passion and talent for animation to Lumosity and helped create some of our most impressive assets. His understanding of Unity and the art pipeline made it easy to work with him as an engineer-artist team. He has an incredible eye for detail and such a friendly personality. It was a pleasure to collaborate with him on projects.

Projects: DreamBox Learning Math, and DreamBox Learning Reading Park Initially brought on to a team of artists to help develop and produce Lessons and Features in the Math space for a target audience of kindergarten to 8th grade, I worked alongside Development teams to help bring our Curriculum Designers visions to life. Refined processes amongst the Artists Pipeline to deliver assets and marketing materials in half the time prior. Built out, rigged and animated a 3D model of one of Dreambox's Mascots for use in Promotional Materials. After a departure of our Art Director, I stepped in and am leading a team of six artists across both value streams, coordinating projects and timelines, establishing art styles, and putting together and executing plans to tackle Dreambox Learning Reading Park, a fun and exciting reading experience for students. Projects: Pokemon Battle Medallion, The Walking Dead, Dungeon Crasher, Monster Strike, Nature Strikes Back With a team located all over the US, Japan and China, I produced Game and UI effects, illustrations and screen animations for Pokemon Battle Medallion while maintaining branding for The Pokemon Company, was a Pokemon Master Resource, I fielded a bunch of questions about which pokemon would make the most sense for a given location, lore, etc. In our upcoming Unreleased games, I animated and rigged characters and attacks, loot box animations, and UI effects, while working with our Japan offices to stay on brand with the IPs we were working with. I also did some Live ops work for our Walking Dead game, and made promotional videos and animation for our company's Tokyo Game Show parties Show less

Project: Where on Google Earth is Carmen Sandiego Google Earth was looking to do a Point N' Click adventure in the vein of classic Carmen, so I was able to provide pixel animations and new character art of the new Carmen Sandiego characters. This includes adhering to the show's artstyle, and concepting backgrounds, characters and storyboards to final art. Also put together a couple of social media Ads and Teasers for release. Projects: Magic Chance, Contextual, Trouble Brewing Holiday, Live Ops I worked as part of an Art team to test and keep our projects on brand, as well as work with a developer to concept and test game pitches and features. Once given the green light to move forward, I worked from concept to final Art, Motion and UX in Unity and Cocos Creator. In addition to game projects, I also worked with Live Ops to port and reskin past projects as well as refine the Art QA process and worked with Marketing to tune up our Rebranding effort and provide Art for Promotional Emails Show less
