I've had the privilege to work with George on several occasions. As a former co-worker and long term friend, I can confidently say that he is highly skilled in Geology & Geophysics, with a strong suit in mapping and analytics. He brings positivity, ingenuity and team spirit to the workplace allowing companies to achieve great things and I look forward to many more years knowing George.

George and I worked closely on several wells in the Mississippian (OK) and Marmaton (TX) plays. He is a very intelligent and hard working geoscientist. I always enjoyed being paired with George - he's the type of guy who arrives early and stays late if necessary, he completes his work in a speedy and accurate manner, and he's always willing to help out in any way possible. George also developed a knack for catching errors and problems before they got bigger. In addition to his work ethic and skills, George is a very upbeat and friendly guy who gets along with everyone. I highly recommend him.

Participated in business development activities and events. Contributed to various international and domestic consulting projects. Worked on database conversions, full reserve reports, type curve/EUR analysis, price sensitivities, production roll-forwards and organizing files for data room. Skilled with public production data (DI Desktop, IHS Enerdeq, P2/Merrick Suite - Carte), intermediate MS Excel and Access, big data analytics & visualization packages (Tableau, Spotfire), reserves evaluation software (ARIES and PHDWin) and mapping software (Petra, ArcGIS, QGIS). Consulted for a Mineral Royalties company where I mapped well and lease assets country-wide in QGIS to present investment potential and upside development for buyers. I also cross checked newly acquired wells with PHDWin databases and ensure their production and ownership is imported and up to date. Consulted for an Operator with concentrated assets in the East Texas and North Louisiana region where I helped evaluate EUR potential based off on offsets and their Effective Lateral Lengths. I devised an LOS/LOE conversion spreadsheet with Macros to allow relevant and more concise display of information to the Reservoir Engineering team. I updated the company’s databases with new production daily from Merrick Suite – Carte and used Tableau to effectively compare with the projected performance of operated and non-operated wells and research reasons for production discrepancies. I mapped assets considered for acquisition in QGIS while keeping in mind distance from operated acreage as to build over area-specific advantage. Consulted for an Operator with concentrated assets in the Eagle Ford actively looking for acquisitions and drill-to-earn partnerships. Ran price sensitivies and using financial/LOE models, generated custom-made report templates from Landmark ARIES. Utilizing Spotfire, I analyzed well spacing and researched frac hits. Pulled well production data from IHS Enerdeq to load into ARIES. Show less

Supervised and trained sample catchers. Trained in remote geosteering using SES. Geosteered on site in the Permian (Delaware & Midland basins) targeting the Wolfcamp formation. Completed horizontal and extended-reach wells. Monitor gas levels and Chromatograph readings C1-C5 using FID equipment and 8900 Gas Chromatograph. Formerly Horizon Well Logging, LLC:Overseen the completion of over 500 wells' mud logs in the Bakken, Niobrara, Mississippi Lime, Marmaton, Granite Wash, Woodford, Eagle Ford, Permian, Marcellus and Utica. Assist mudloggers from field support center with mud logs and troubleshooting equipment. Cross reference all mud logs and deliverable files before they are emailed to the customer. Inspect and ensure customer requirements and product standards are met. Periodically review and update each standard to ensure its completeness, accuracy, and applicability. Train new QC analysts and provide 24/7 feedback to mudloggers through email, discussion forum and phone to improve product quality. Monitor each well's activity from spud to production casing to better advice mudloggers should any critical situations arise. Update the database system with distribution lists, drilling plans, geological prognosis, and customer requirements to allow prompt authorized access when needed. Formerly Horizon Well Logging, LLC:Logged in the Mississippi Lime, Marmaton and Niobrara Shale plays. Prepared new trainees out in the field and taught them how to apply their theoretical knowledge. Utilized and familiar with third party seismic, wireline, MWD, geosteering and mud information. Used offset wells and their gamma signatures to better predict and verify formation tops and structural geological features.
