The nonpartisan StateDemocracy Foundation has been a pioneer in this movement, delivering democracy to over 250,000 desktops since 2001, via www.StateDemocracy.org. This completely free 1-stop portal is the most comprehensive civic engagement toolbox on the Web, connecting constituents to lawmakers on the federal level and in all 50 states. Most recently, the StateDemocracy Foundation launched www.LobbyDelegates.com. This free site was the only one enabling rank-and-file Democrats to correspond with all 800+ Super Delegates. Some 30,000 visitors came to LobbyDelegates.com to persuade these top party officials to back either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
