+ Coaching a cross-unit Development Team of 30 project managers, development managers, product owners and two to five DevOps teams+ Member of the Department Executive Board (100+ employees in the Department)+ National Contact Point for European Road Traffic Information Exchange (supervising and developing the use of EUCARIS and other exchange systems)+ Coordinating an ICT Project Portfolio of 30 on-going projects with a budget around 3,2M€ a year in developmentsKeywords: Project Portfolio Management, ICT Development, Automated International Information Exchange, DevOps, Networking, Business Development, International Relations.+ Largely due to my coordinating and supporting efforts, the Finnish Police now sends speeding tickets abroad. There has been an EU-wide legal base for this since 2013 but it took quite some time and resources to provide the information exchange methods needed, as well as implement changes to the process. This I consider one of the most exciting achievements in my career, since it took a lot of national cross-sector co-operation, excellent working relations to my European network of colleagues and a lot of initiative to achieve this and make us in Finland one step closer to an open, yet equal Europe.+ In this role I co-wrote two professional publications: Research on prevalence of odometer tampering in passenger cars and effectiveness study of the Finnish car scrapping campaign. This Treaty provided the Finnish public officials with a wider access to information in other European registries. This road traffic -related data can help public officials such as the Customs and the Police to prevent and investigate more fraud and crimes. The legislation came into force in 2018 and the joining of the Treaty was finalized in 2019. I coordinated the building of the information exchange, built national safeguarding measures (GDPR) and collaborated actively with my European network to build better and more efficient systems. I also networked with the experts of the European Commission to help them better understand the situation in different countries implementing EU legislation and thus draft proposals for new legislative changes.
