I had the pleasure to work with Somer. She is what you describe as a great boss. The kind who you work hard for. Her leadership is strong and she unites a team together. She wants to see members of her team succeed and she knows how to bring the best out of her staff. Her passion for marketing is infectious. I can't say that I've worked for someone as professional, positive, fun, uplifting and hard working. It makes you want to work harder at what you do. Her continual innovative thinking, creativity and understanding of the business and brand development are key assets that you need at your company. She is what you call a true marketer. If you've considered Somer as your future marketer, you do not need to look any further. She is one of a kind!

Somer is truly one of a kind. She brings a fun-loving, light-hearted energy to her work and her team, but she is also undeniably passionate, hard-working, and talented. During the four years Somer was at Tortoise Restaurant Group we worked closely together as she restructured TRG’s brand strategies and led their marketing team. She has a fabulous ability to engage everyone in the room in a spirit of true collaboration, but still make quick, decisive decisions and lead the team strategically. She shook things up and brought substantial change to TRG while simultaneously building a fiercely loyal team, both internally and with her suppliers – not an easy feat. I’m a huge fan. I miss our photoshoots and boardroom sessions, and I absolutely without a doubt give Somer my highest recommendation. She’s a strategic thinker and a straight-shooter. She would be an asset to any team.
