      As a (Big) data engineer I'm responsible for building a data lake on a Spark cluster in the Amazon Cloud (AWS). This will be done with the programming languae Scala. Also we are using Spark SQL (Spark SQL, part of Apache Spark big data framework, is used for structured data processing and allows running SQL like queries on Spark data.
