  ▪ Maintain operation of the furnaces within SOP’s and limits set by Production Manager and HOD, Production. ▪ Training of operators. ▪ Maintain good working relations with other shift supervisors and other departments ▪ Safety within the crew. ▪ Keeping the manager logbook. ▪ Report needs for maintenance, damages to equipment, and production deficiencies. ▪ Lead the shift team to complete the production targets with high quality and efficiency, optimize productivity and achieve other KPIs ▪ Work closely with the management team to provide strategic advice on all production-related policies and issues. ▪ Work with the equipment and maintenance team to ensure smooth operation and functions of the equipment. ▪ Monitor production safety management regulations and timely resolve emergencies and prevent potential failures. ▪ Supervises personnel assignor and controls maintenance and operation of the furnace. ▪ Supervises unloading and storage of raw materials. ▪ Establishes and administers training, safety, attendance programs, and disciplinary procedures in line with company directives. ▪ Monitors and controls established procedures, methods, and quality standards in glass smelting and refining and ingredients used in batches. ▪ Assures samples of batch materials are provided for Quality Control. ▪ Coordinates and assists with developmental or experimental production activities. ▪ To undertake any other job assigned by immediate superior or Management from time to time.
