I enjoyed working with Chris while I was at AVL. Chris proved to be a very successful project manager, an informal mentor and a role model. I worked on one of Chris’s large projects. This project was complex technically and the customer had extremely high expectations. In addition, this was also a lengthy project where the scope and schedule was continuously discussed/challenged at all levels of both organizations. As a Software Application Engineer I was onsite for the majority of the project commissioning/check-out. Though the project was frustrating at times Chris offered clarity, perspective and motivation. He also acted as a buffer between the engineers and the customer. I learned a lot from this experience and from Chris. Any organization would benefit from his technical skills, leadership abilities and the subtle was he reads/situations and people to ensure that the right thing is done.

Chris always conducts himself in a fair and professionsal manner and maintains a clear vision of the critical technical goals for company projects. He looks to find the most cost effective means to complete project engineering, whether it be through the use of internal or external recources. His grasp of technical issues is excellent.
