I have had the pleasure of working with Mark on a number of major partnership projects. From a charity trek across the National Forest to the National Memorial Arboretum, hosting a Covid memorial service at Westminster Abbey and many discussions at the Timber Festival over a local beer or two, to name but a few. Mark is a natural born leader, working with confidence whatever the setting. I greatly admire his relaxed and professional approach and ability to present with tremendous energy and insight to such a variety of audiences including government ministers, members of the royal family, major donors and groups of volunteers. His partnership working is second to none, steering major projects to keep them on track and partners on board, making difficult decisions in an effortless and well-reasoned way. I do hope our paths cross again as Mark always brings good humour and a positive light to any project he is involved with.
Carole Bent
A combination of genuine leadership skills , clear commercial acumen and authentic belief in the organisation that he represents makes Mark an excellent person to work with. His ability to communicate, connect and create enduring relationships with people from all walks of life makes Mark ideally placed to represent the much respected and loved National Memorial Arboretum with the sensitivity needed. It was a pleasure to work with Mark and his colleagues on a significant exhibition and I can’t recommend him or the NMA highly enough.
