Boddie is in his 40th season of officiating. He trains young umpires and assigns umpires and assist all groups, ie., USSSA, Dizzy Dean, Dixie Youth, Metro, etc. He is VP of Alabama Umpire Association, a Member of the Cooperstown Youth Umpire Hall of Fame, Alabama High School Association, National Association of Sports Officials, National Federation of High School Officials, Amateur Baseball Umpire Association, and officiate baseball, football, basketball, softball, and soccer. He loves kids, sports and officiating!
