Working at Hunter Dickinson Inc. allowed me to embrace new opportunities with each project I was involved with. While assembling teams of technical personnel I worked alongside some of the leaders within the mineral exploration industry to solve complex problems requiring vast knowledge in all manner of disciplines. Gaining a social license is key to any natural resource project and establishing and maintaining relationships within the local and First Nations communities was both a challenging and rewarding experience. During the past 12 years with HDI, I worked extensively on projects in British Columbia, Alaska, Tibet, China, Poland, and New Brunswick. Adapting to new cultures and ideas was a key factor in developing successful working relationships with local communities, aboriginal peoples and government agencies. My responsibilities include; -developing and managing ground based and helicopter supported exploration and geotechnical drilling programs, -industrial lease and permit application preparation and submission, -maintaining mineral claims, -preparing land assessment reports, -designing and implementing safety programs, -contract preparation and budget management, -downhole and GPS surveying, -cartography using MapInfo, -procurement of goods and services, -government and aboriginal negotiations.
