      Key Accomplishments Replaced existing EOL switching, wireless and firewall instructure with HPE Office Connect Switches & Meraki MX & MR series appliances. Streamlining network hardware allowed for seamless site to site vpn connectivity for the Northern & Southern Home Offices while increasing wireless bandwidth, connectivity & network security. Mobile Device and user endpoint inventory & management was handled by Meraki Mobile Device Management and Microsoft WSUS. Installed Cisco Umbrella to assist with Content Filtering and provide proactive monitoring at the DNS level throughout the company and on off premise devices. Created multiple policies per department enabling granular control over what can and can’t be accessed while on company equipment Adoption of the Google Docs platform throughout the company increasing user access & ability to collaborate on projects, sharing information with users inside & outside the company. This was done using Google sourced programs such as their cloud interface and File Drive stream. This provided a way for legacy users to be a part of the Google Infrastructure without interruption due to re-learning new software. Created a secondary VMWare virtualized server to house an additional Domain Controller for Redundancy and allow the use of Veeam Backup and Replication. Backups were housed onsite & offsite in a cloud storage repository. Monthly Backup checks to restore data from both locations to ensure recoverability of data in case of a failure. Increasing company awareness about security using tools such as Lastpass, Monthly email and Verbal security tips assisted in minimal endpoint device infection of Malware & Viruses. Show less
