Lead Solar Installer

At REC Solar we deal with your typical grid tied, residential and light commercial PV systems. My primary responsibilities as an installer include assessing the site where the array is to be located, laying out the array as per the engineering plans while making modification for any of the multitude of unexpected circumstances that we may encounter, and ensuring that the array is constructed in at a timely pace and to the highest standard. While with REC I have worked on various types of projects such as; residential roof and ground mounted systems, light commercial (10-30kw) systems, medium commercial (100-200kw) systems, Emphase inverter systems, and Tigo energy systems. Solar Installer
-
Mar 2010 - Oct 2010
Many residential homes and buildings are offering solar as either an option or a standard feature on the new homes that they are constructing. My team receives the system layout and specifications and is responsible for the entire construction of the system, which is done in three stages. First we wire the home, second the solar tiles are installed on the roof, and third we install the disconnects, inverters and meters. The final product is a brand new home with a solar system integrated into the structure. We are responsible for the entire process from receiving the drawings and materials to the final connection and powering up the array and any trouble shooting that may need to be done along the way.
