I had the privilege of managing Lamont for my last 4 years at Motorola. Lamont is a real go-getter who will dive in and get designs done. He excelled at embedded software, especially those parts that worked closely with hardware elements. He is a no nonsense engineer who will always let you know how things really are. He has an excellent grasp on the overall project objectives and makes tradeoffs with those objectives in mind.
