The Kievit Laboratory focuses on the development of theranostic nanoparticles for the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury. We use dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI to quantitatively assess perfusion of Gadolinium-labeled nanoparticles in the brain using pharmacokinetic parameters such as Ktrans.
