Debanjan was my most dependable staff on a project that we executed together for a North American client in 2014-2015 at Manthan. He exhibited his solid fundamentals in Econometrics and Statistical Modeling while he developed Mixed Regression models to come up with the optimum price constraints – the end deliverables for the client. Apart from going through the rigors of data cleansing and integration he finally created the models from scratch. He finally took over the responsibility of training the client team remotely from India on the method and findings so that the client could operationalize the model results. Debanjan did a really commendable job of the training especially given the fact that the trainer and trained were oceans apart and had different first languages. I found Debanjan extremely reliable as he was committed to his work and often came up with very innovative solutions when it was required most. Debanjan’s personal qualities are equally commendable. He is kind, considerate and extremely creative and fun to work with. You can break into a discussion with Debanjan on almost any topic be it music, literature or world politics! He is a football buff and the only days he took off from work are due to football related injuries! In conclusion I feel that Debanjan has excellent academic and personal qualities to be credited to great opportunities in his academic or professional career and I give him the recommendation without reservation.
