I supervised Asmita while she pursued her graduate degree at the University of Oklahoma - what a truly remarkable employee. Initiative and an eagerness to learn are two of the most important things I look for in people I hire, and Asmita far exceeded my expectations. She excelled in her managerial role, hiring and supervising a team of student workers. Asmita took time for each team member and helped them through the twists and turns of college (and the COVID 19 pandemic). Would love the opportunity to get to work with her again!
Alyssa Campbell
Asmita and I were teammates during a cross-functional product design internship. She was great to work with as she always led with kindness and respect for her fellow team members. Asmita is hardworking and dedicated to project goals. She later went on to lead her own team of interns that successfully developed their own product. Asmita would make a provide incredible value to any team she’s on!

Recycling of plastic is difficult but residual ink creates further creates issues for reusing plastic. My research focuses on removing ink from plastic to understand the effect of mechanical and optical properties. This research investigates how various factors can influence the removal of ink and seek for approaches for removal.
