Marcus is a natural leader, and not just through the wield power, command attention way of traditional leaders, but through his thoughtfulness, compassion, and remarkable ability to inspire others to give and grow toward a unified vision. He's also one of the only people I've met who asks questions to hear answers. He may already know his answer, but he seriously thinks over all responses, regardless of who's answered—rank, seniority, all treated fairly with careful consideration to each. It's one of many reasons people gravitate toward his vision and plan. I witnessed Marcus grow the Freedom Bicycle brand from nothing at WTB, putting hard efforts to product and brand identity, competing in a crowded marketplace and coming out on top. I also watched him instill WTB's core values, homegrown-collaborative feel and product strengths in international markets, while growing sales simultaneously—not easy to do. These are just a few reasons, among many, why I'll always recommend Marcus for anything he sets his heart to do, as I'm confident he'll succeed.

Cool and measured regardless of the pressure or deadline, Marcus is a great colleague and a pleasure to work with. He is as comfortable building a brand through local grass roots marketing as he is opening new international markets. He is an incredible asset and receives my highest recommendation.

Marcus build a brand with very little resources. He took Freedom from an idea to a thriving globally recognized cycling brand; from the product development cycle, to marketing, to OEM spec, to sales and distribution. He is quick to learn and has one of the best work ethics of anyone I have ever met. I really enjoyed working with Marcus and would highly recommend him.
