Program Coordinator
-
Apr 2017 - Jun 2019
I worked as a Manager/ Program Coordinator at the Wellness Education and Health Promotion Program at Lehman College. My experience in this office encompasses project and event management, strategic planning, curriculum development and staff training. One of my greatest feats in this office has been implementing a Coaching Program for students on campus. Kicking off this program included stipend allocations along with an intense interview process to hire 9 Wellness Coaches. This was followed by training each of them in the seven dimensions of wellness and coaching them on how to host workshops, tabling sessions and in-class lectures. Other major responsibilities of managing this office include developing a curricula of activities, workshops and lectures for each semester. Moreover it entailed taking command of any operation/project brainstormed by my colleagues and guiding it to new performance levels. One such projects involved planning, integrating and hosting a social mixer on campus, attended by 250 students, to promote social wellness on campus by facilitating social network development within students.
