  It is rewarding to be part of changing someone’s life and Willingway did a great job treating alcohol and drug addiction. As Bookkeeper, I didn't deal directly with many patients, but I was so happy when I saw someone turn their life around. You CAN do it, one day at a time! Before Willingway's purchase by Summit BHC, I was responsible for month end close, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, deposits and a variety of management reports. Most of our software programs then changed, but I enjoyed the challenge of making new processes work most efficiently. I also added payroll processing to my skills.   As Accounting Manager at Interra Credit Union, my staff and I were responsible for reconciliations, accounts payable, wire transfers and researching all those problems that come up when various software programs try to meld. I prepared most of the Call Report – a massive, detailed report submitted quarterly to state regulators. I also prepared several pages for the monthly board report and made most of the month end entries. I am most proud that I received the highest score of the Accounting department in our internal service review. I feel that communication and good internal customer service are very important to get “number” people in sync with “people” people.
