      As a PR intern, many of my duties revolve around generating as much traffic towards website content as possible. I compile an email list for each new feature on the Relix website, which includes contacts in management companies, record labels, venues and other interested parties that may be interested in reading and sharing the feature to their own followers on social media. This typically involves extensive research into the various organizations that may benefit from a particular artist featured in Relix content gaining exposure online, and finding the person within that organization that is the best position to get the word out. Other duties include working the Relix booth at events and conducting research on local events. Operating the booth at events requires me to engage directly with event attendees who may be interesting in purchasing a magazine or a subscription and informing them about the comapny and any deals or promotions that it may be having at the time.
