  My search for a company that reflected my personal values led me to Riot Games, where the Riot Manifesto is not just talk, but the guiding principles for every decision I make. I have had the privilege of working with fellow Rioters who are passionate about what they do, and hold themselves, and everyone around them, to a standard of excellence that pushes me every day. Nothing powers me up more than working on projects I can personally get excited about, with people I know I can depend on to care just as much as I do. In the Hong Kong Studio, we have the luxury of working in a startup atmosphere, with the resources of a global company. While my responsibilities include being the sole legal counsel for Hong Kong Studio and other regional Riot offices, I am not restricted to the world of legal. I wear as many hats as I find I can handle, tackling problems of all kinds, with the goal of creating an inspiring environment that fuels my fellow Rioters for delivering world-class player experiences. I am empowered by the trust other Rioters place in me, and in return, I trust them, and Riot, to always do right by our players. On any given day, you could find me doing the following: • Advising Riot and Hong Kong Studio leadership, charting the course for projects big and small, always with a view on long term impact over short term gain; • Exploring strange, new aspects of the legal industry and jury-rigging solutions to unknown problems; • Managing Riot’s relationships with specialized outside counsel and collaborating to find ways to get things done; • Organizing on site learning opportunities for Rioters to level up their craft; • Drafting a variety of commercial agreements including vendor, licensing and publishing agreements, review employment-related documents while complying with privacy and data protection standards, and handling IP enforcement matters; and • Working my way out of Silver (anyone want to carry me?).
