  Built scenes, including environment, characters and props for third season of animated TV series Tripping the Rift. Determined camera type, angles and movements. Set characters in poses and created pre-animations, imported audio files, rendered and tested animation previews, and rendered test frames. Quickly learned procedures and software, and trained second artist only 3 days after taking the position. Cut costs of production, and speeded up production process, by devising creative solution to need for test renderings of complex scenes involving a mirror. Solution eliminated need to re-render and composite when changes were needed. Leveraged prior experience as TV cameraman to recreate the style of the series 24 for an entire episode. Supervised and manipulated cameras for all 250+ scenes, delivering entire project in only 2 weeks – the usual timeframe needed by all 5 layout artists. Show less
