Valina is an Architect and educator who I have nominated for an honouree RIBA fellowship because she has done so much to progress Architectural education and urban thinking on an international level. I have collaborated with Valina whilst being invited to lecture in Rome, we share the same passion for the smart cities and use of digital technology to progress Architecture. I see a bright future for Valina as she combines passion for her craft as well as a sharp intellect on many subjects.

Valina is an Architect and Urban Planner w/ global experience currently working at the bleeding edge of research +focussed on the effects of the 4th Industrial Revolution onto the Built environment. I have collaborated with Valina since a serendipitous introduction from a mutual friend as we share belief in the power of collaboration/sharing of ideas for amplified collective intelligence and also how this can be cultivated in education for maximised value to both students/graduates and industry/society. We also share an interest in the real world application/ impact of our area of research interest far beyond the realm of Academics talking to Academics via journals and I look forward to collaborating further with Valina through the network currently being built in areas of mutual interest and also through the potential future research vehicles/ outputs for maximised real world outcomes/ impact that the network will afford.
