Mary is a truly excellent consultant for online course development. I’ve been teaching offline for decades and was one of those people who was highly skeptical of the potential of online courses for truly transformative learning and development. Mary opened me to seeing the very different potential of an online learning environment and gave me potent and effective pointers for how to leverage that potential. It was an absolute joy to work with her! She guided me, step by step, and I was able to create a 6 module (60 hour) professional development course for a university that has been transformative for students, and her recommendations contributed greatly to what students appreciated about the course. And Mary didn’t just say what to do. She always had solid rationales for her recommendations, so I was motivated to enter new territory with confidence.

I had the good fortune of working with Mary in the development and delivery of an innovative new program at Simon Fraser University: Evaluation for Social Change and Transformational Learning. While I felt secure in my knowledge about the topic, I was entirely new to what it takes to organize the content in an accessible and interactive way for distance-learning programs. I learned a lot in short period of time, and it was largely because of Mary's expertise, facilitation and coaching style, and patience. Mary is one of the few people I have met that could have helped me through this process. I'd work with her again in a New York minute.
