I was brought on as a Policy Analyst by the BCITSA for a short-term project based initiative to update their existing internal policy manual, which included language pertaining to all of their varied departments, from human resources to marketing to childcare operations. Throughout my time in this position, I researched the approaches taken by comparable organizations, as well as looked into applicable provincial and federal legislation to ensure that our language was still compliant. With this, I reorganized the existing documentation into a much more accessible format, and added additional language as required.
