As the senior school technology specialist, I serve three roles within the school: technical support, professional development, and teacher. On a daily basis, I am maintaining and updating our school portal, teacher and student accounts, and managing our technology inventory (laptops, desktops, Promethean boards, and other items). I work with teachers to solve hardware/software issues as they occur, but what I enjoy most is the time spent planning with teachers to help them find and use the best tools to meet students needs. Currently, I also teach mini-courses to middle year students. These are 6 week exploratory classes focused on technological resources. Show less
