I was fortunate enough to work alongside Dawn at a high-end residential landscape installation and maintenance company in Cincinnati, Ohio. During the time that we worked together, she rewrote the company's record books in terms of maintenance sales and transformed the Maintenance Division from a support element into a highly profitable asset. She is an outgoing and effecttive salesperson, a tireless worker, a self-starter, an innovative problem-solver, and a team player. Her plant knowledge is vast and includes species/cultivar ID, plant husbandry, plant growth characteristics/development, planting design, and landscape maintenance. She would undoubtedly hit the ground running and quickly become an invaluable asset to any landscape company, nursery, or other company/organization in the green industry that adds her to their team.

I’ve worked for OSU Extension for 30 years and have known Dawn for at least 10 years, perhaps longer. However, I’ve learned you don’t need to be around Dawn long to become aware of two qualities that I highly value: her inquisitive nature and her integrity. I average around 100 teaching presentations per year and I’m fairly certain that I first met Dawn at a conference or some other educational program. While she may have been attending to represent her employer, she didn’t hide out on trade show floors. She would be part of the audience in many of my presentations and display her inquisitive nature by asking some of the most thoughtful questions that I’ve ever gotten from Green Industry professionals! I believe this connects to her integrity. In my line of work, I often hear what Green Industry professionals truly think about support companies. If they just hear
