BERE efforts are in support of open science and the advancement of education. The research theme for 2023 includes exploratory work around the intersection of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and behavioral economics, such as similarities and differences between AI and human decision making across different platforms. The 2023 lab currently consists of about ten people with a mixture of alumni, graduate students, and undergraduate students from industry, Cornell University, and UCLA and spanning behavioral economics, technology management, and computer science disciplines.
