      TRiO Programs at Central Carolina Community College hosts four (4) U.S. Department of Education federally funded TRiO Programs: Student Support Services, Student Support Services – STEM & Health Sciences, Upward Bound Math and Science, and Veterans Upward Bound. The Student Support Services Director provides leadership and administrative oversight for both the Student Support Services and Student Support Services – STEM & Health Sciences programs and staff across Chatham, Harnett, and Lee Counties. TRiO Programs are located within the Division of Student Learning at Central Carolina and housed primarily on the Sanford Main Campus. The Student Support Services Director reports to the Executive Director of TRiO Programs and supervises one SSS Program Counselor/Coach, two Academic Advisor/Coaches, an Administrative Assistant, Supplemental Instruction Leaders, and Tutors.
