I had the pleasure of reporting directly to Mike Gremer for the better part of my 3+ years at VCE. Mike is a very detailed, execution-focused and personable manager that is keen to balance the business, process and people that report to him. In addition to being my manager, I consider Mike to be my mentor, and a key reason for my career advancement. Therefore, I strongly recommend Mike (to the highest degree possible) for any role he might consider to pursue. Mike is the model by which all managers should be compared. Mike provides the leadership and guidance that a team of senior contributors requires. He leads when needed, he guides when needed, and he allows his team to work thier respective programs. When I need to escalate an issue, Mike is there to help and provide assistance. Mike was the driving force behind the creation of the VCE Program Management Office (PMO). Mike crafted the foundation, and then looked to his team to help bring the PMO and the product life-cycle to life. This Lifecycle process is now the framwork by which all products, solutions, and services throughout the company are released. I will gladly work with Mike again anytime in the future.
