In its inaugural year, the Canadian Internet Marketing Conference (#CIMC2015) brought marketing experts from all over Canada to Squamish, BC for the city's first digital marketing conference. My tasks included agency calls all over Canada to inform about the conference and the various ways to get involved, sponsorship calls, and social media in the lead-up as well as during the event. During the conference, I also worked closely with the event manager and assisted with event execution with tasks including setup, takedown, and various others as they came up. The Canadian Internet Marketing Conference accomplished a lot in its first year including trending #1 on Twitter, bringing together over 40 world-class speakers, and bringing 250 digital marketing experts to Squamish for the first time. Bring on CIMC 2016!
