  On paper my job is to teach people how to lead and follow ballroom dances: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, East Coast Swing, Cha Cha, Hustle, Samba, Mambo, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Zouk, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Foxxy, Argentine Tango etc... I specialize in choreographing and teaching wedding couples routines for their first dance. I also teach various levels and types of group classes. I assist in running parties and events, and help put together music for these events. I also update social media for the studio on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Meanwhile, I'm constantly training to better my own dancing and teaching techniques to best benefit my students. But what dance instructors at Arthur Murray actually do is change lives. All walks of life enter the studio and I get to know them on a personal level. I'm their goal-setter and their biggest cheerleader to succeed. And when they do succeed, I'm right there to celebrate their achievements. My job is to encourage and support, to be an enthusiastic force of energy and to create a FUN environment to be in. A fun environment creates happy dancers, and happy dancers have great self-improvement. My job is to better people's lives through dance.

  This is a very interesting project. When completed this video will be hosted online. Users have to log on to Facebook before viewing the video because their Facebook profile information will be embedded into the video in real time. Similar to the popular "take this lollipop" video, this one is about Big Brother looking over our personal information. Hopefully it will go viral! In this position my responsibilities were finding the cast/extras, scouting locations, holding in-house and video auditions, tracking the budget, props and set design, being a production assistant.
