Moved back to Sweden in the summer 2009 primarily for my 2 children’s education. Decided to pause my business career and opened a sole proprietary construction business. I spent 5 years fine tuning my carpentry and construction skills. The list of completed projects include a “stick built” home in the middle of a forest – from the foundation to the roof – hand built by me! Numerous kitchens, floors, window replacements, decks and patios, I even have a few custom built kitchens – where I made the cabinets, drawers, all the fronts, basically everything but the hardware. It was a great experience but after a while I truly missed the action and pulse of doing business…making sales. Show less

I was recruited to Chicago Kitchen & Bath, Inc. to develop an import company with a private labeled, high end German Kitchen Cabinet line. The project was offered on an independent basis and laid the basis as an independent Business and Sales Development Consultant. Sunsequent clients; • IPA, Inc. International Profit Associates. Sales of complete business revision and development. Made the top 10% of the Midwest sales force in 2 months of activity. • AdPod Media, LLC. The project was to develop a global sales and distribution company within the digital media business – advertising. Exclusive distribution of Adcalator secured. Initial letters of interest were secured from global players like Clear Channel and CBS Outdoor. Pre-production spec’s and logistics in Hong Kong. We were funded by large real estate company, which unfortunately put the project on ice after 11 months. • BEC Inc. I repeated a similar start-up venture as I did 2003/05 for 1 of the clients I set up initially. This venture focused on securing a “preferred vendor” status with a major buying group within the industry. The preferred vendor status was achieved, the first non-American product ever. This project was finalized successfully. • Culina Blu Ltd. Chicago, IL Recruited to develop and launch an import and wholesale company in the kitchen furniture market. Secured exclusive, North American distribution contract with a ‘top shelf’ German producer. Negotiated import logistics and routines with freight carriers in US and Germany. Launched the product in 3 key markets; Chicago, Miami & San Francisco. Secured a sales organization for the Great lakes territory. Managed the web site development.
