No doubt that historically (at times), the carrier/consultant relationship has proven tenuous; Matt defied the odds and certainly served to refresh my outlook on this. Technology lead solution selling into enterprise customers. Securing 6 of the businesses Top 12 customers & helped the overall business to grow beyond ~$250m p/a. After generating sales in excess of ~$4m over the first 3 years, I was given the opportunity to lead a business unit within the wider group. Growing from a team of only 2 & starting from a blank balance sheet - I was able to acquire a further ~$10m+ in new business as well as onboard 4 new staff members to assist in the management of the portfolio. After successfully achieving $1m EBIT in our inaugural 18 months, the business decision was made to roll that BU back into the overall group. Key tasks included: - Solution Design - New customer acquisition - Carrier negotiations - Customer implementations - QBR & report management - SLA discussions - Employee onboarding - P&L management I was fortunet enough to have a great team around me & we successfully secured 6 of the businesses Top 12 customers (at that stage).
