Responsible in the planning and execution of health risk assessment for chemicals, physical, ergonomics, biological & psycho-social hazards arising from business activities at the refinery, gas and petrochemical facilities during various operational phases (e.g., routine, turnaround, project). Conduct quantitative evaluation for various types of health risks to evaluate the level of exposure to workers (e.g., chemicals and noise exposure for operation and maintenance personnel, WBV assessment for forklift driver, heat stress assessment during tank cleaning activities). Assess and review adequacy of existing control measures with respect to risk level and practicality to accomplish the tasks (e.g., fume hood for laboratory, GV performance for confined space entry, CPC suitability for tank cleaning activities, compliance to cartridge change-out for respirator). Perform analysis and interpretation of exposure monitoring data (e.g., chemical and noise) to explore and identify opportunity for improvement (e.g., improvement on noise engineering control, work process, IH program). Develop communication packs for engagement and syndication with facilities management and relevant authorities (e.g., DOSH, internal / external auditors). Develop and review standards, procedure and work instruction for the management of IH related risks (e.g., hearing conservation, chemical management, IAQ). Plan and execute IH programs such as safe handling of chemicals (SHOC), Hearing Conservation Program (HCP) and Ergonomics (Office & Manual Handling). Participate as team member / subject matter in the investigation of occupational hygiene & health related incident (e.g., NIHL, Mercury & Benzene poisoning / overexposure).
